MAPtics: Desktop GIS (Software)
MAPtics Desktop Software is an advanced geospatial analysis tool designed for desktop environments, offering powerful features for map visualization, spatial data processing, and thematic mapping. Built to support a wide range of users—from environmental researchers to urban planners—MAPtics enables the import, editing, analysis, and export of vector and raster datasets in formats like Shapefile, KML, GeoTIFF, and CSV. The software provides tools for digitizing features, generating custom buffers, performing spatial queries, and creating high-quality printable maps with legends and scales.
With a focus on usability and performance, MAPtics includes interactive layers, attribute editing, base map overlays (e.g., OpenStreetMap, Google Satellite), and integration with GPS data. It is especially useful for offline field analysis, forest surveys, land use planning, and remote sensing-based assessments. Whether for academic research or operational project planning, MAPtics delivers precision, flexibility, and an intuitive interface—all in a lightweight standalone desktop package.
Geospatial Training Courses
Geospatial Training Courses are currently being conducted across various specialized modules, ranging in duration from 1 week to 6 months. These programs are designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies.
The training covers both theoretical foundations and practical applications, utilizing a range of RSGIS software tools. Participants gain skills in satellite image interpretation, spatial data analysis, map creation, and field data integration. Each course module is tailored to different user levels—from beginners to advanced professionals—ensuring a strong understanding of geospatial concepts and real-world implementation techniques.

QuickMap (Web application)
QuickMap is a user-friendly platform for DGPS (georeferencing) maps, including topo maps (availability dependent). It converts KML files into accurate PDF maps for non-GIS users.
Cutting-Edge Geospatial Solutions for IOCL
Providing comprehensive geospatial database creation, editing, management, and tailored solutions to optimize Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) operational and strategic needs for FC proposals as a leading geospatial service provider.
Forest Cover Density (Web application)
A platform designed to simplify the creation of forest/green space density maps using satellite data. Users can upload KML files to generate density maps, which can be downloaded in PDF. It offers an easy way for non-GIS users to visualize and analyze forest cover.
Silva Spatial Data Creation (SSDC): Version 2.0 (Software)
An updated version of SSDC (1.0) featuring additional tools such as one-click automated map composition, buffer analysis, and elevation profiles for beginners, along with a refreshed and modernized appearance.
Forest Survey (Mobile App)
A mobile application designed for on field forest data data collection and photo tagging, featuring integrated database support, KML export, and data transfer facility. On field data base generate.
Silva Spatial Data Creation (SSDC): Beta Version (Software)
Silva is a Latin term that refers to a forest or woodland and is often used to describe the collective forest trees of a specific region or country. Inspired by this concept, SSDC (Silva Spatial Data Creation) is a dedicated software tool designed for efficient forest survey data management. The software enables users to create comprehensive databases by capturing geotagged photographs along with corresponding field data. It seamlessly integrates spatial coordinates with descriptive attributes such as species name, soil type, administrative division, and additional notes.
SSDC supports the export of survey data into multiple formats, including CSV (for tabular data with image links), KML (for viewing spatial data and photos in Google Earth), and Shapefiles (for use in professional GIS software like QGIS and ArcGIS). Each format retains the link between geographical location and photographic evidence, ensuring accuracy and ease of analysis. This makes SSDC an essential tool for forestry professionals engaged in ecological documentation, biodiversity assessments, and long-term forest monitoring.
